In today's Korea Times, a subheadline reads that tougher rules will be given to hagwons.
One of the rules, among others, is limiting the operation of hagwons until 10 in the evening.
In my new schedule for this month I have classes for two days until 12 midnight. Just don't know if my hagwon will follow this ruling. Penalty for non-following this regulation is the removal of license.
Hagwons also need to put up their rates in their company's website so that parents are not surprised at the change of rates. Some hagwons in Seoul are guilty of this offense. They suddently increase their rates or hagwon charges without even informing the parents.
