Teaching a Group of Obnoxious Kids

Yesterday was another teaching day. But it was not the usual day. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I teach a group of four obnoxious students.

Why are they obnoxious? One, they do not know the English language well so they keep on speaking in Hangul. Two, they will not even do or if they will do, do the writing test poorly. I even have a one book report done by two students because, as they claimed, they lost the book report paper I gave to them.

I was able to control the other students already. But I am really having a hard time with this group.

Their mobile phones are already with the owner because I claimed, they kept on using their phones in my class. So on the next meeting, their phones were forced out of their hands by the owner. But only on my teaching time.

Will talk with Colm, the British English teacher, on how to treat them. He has more experience in dealing with these kind of kids.
