No Snow Expected for X'mas

Today is December 22, 3 days before Christmas. As reported in today's Korea Times, there is no snow to be expected on Christmas.

The news report states:

A cold spell combined with a gust of wind is expected to grip the whole country today, driving temperatures down to as low as minus 9 degree Celsius, the Korea Meteorological Administration said Sunday. The biting cold is likely to continue Tuesday with snow falling in part of Gangwon Province and the western part of Chungcheong Province and South Jeolla Province. The weather agency expects snowfall to be unlikely on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

It will be just be cold and snowfall is unlikely on Christmas. It is already cold but it will be just colder on Christmas! The cold season will ease up going towards the weekend.

I guess there is no white Christmas to be expected this year.
