Itaewon (Seoul) - The Place Where To Be A Korean Is To Be A Stranger

It is just this part of Seoul Metro City. This is the place where to be a Korean is to be a stranger in Korea.
ITAEWON.

Let's take a look!

Another very beutiful day to go to Itaewon.
A landmark in Itaewon. The Hamilton Hotel. Photo is very simple in this view.
But the other side is a very nice view and you can see Seoul.

Can you see how wonderful the day is? It is really a nice day to walk.
Look around. It seems that the Korean people are Japanese, white, black, Middle Eastern Asians from all over the world. We can mingle and enjoy the coffee.
If you want to enjoy the sensitive sign boards and the exotic feeling in South Korea,
there are two good places for you. One is here, ITAEWON.
The other is Hongdae Street.
In Korea, there is a branch of "Once in a Blue Moon" and the "Blue Note"
but "All That Jazz" is an old jazz bar in Korea.

So cute graffiti!

If you patrol the main road, you can see a lot of French, Italian and Chinese restaurants.
There are even Arabian, Indian and African and many exotic cafes.
The people walking came mostly from outside Korea.
Yes, to be a Korean is to be a stranger here.

Please walk slowly and enjoy the view.

Many people come out today to enjoy the sunshine.

Ha ha! If you only see the signboards, you would think this is not Korea.
Maybe New York:-)?
I like this one for no reason. :)

We are approaching a mosque. Can you see?

Nice view :)

Near a mosque, you can easily find the muslim culture.

Grocery shopping town.
Not easy to live outside our own country. :)
Oh, they sell arabian snack!

Everything is homemade!

Maybe a Mongolian restaurant...?

I want you to try this shop. They sell grilled burger.
The restaurant is very small but a lot of people line up for this.

There are many open cafes.
Time to refresh.
A simple design signboard.
Feels like they sell delicious pizza.

This good-looking Indian man wants a shot to send back home.
Good luck to your life in Korea.
When you have a chance to visit Korea,
go to ITAEWON, please.

Interesting blog, it reminds me of Myeongdong Day Time , we can see faces of K-pop girl group Girl’s Generation, Blackpink, or boy group Exo , Super Junior on shirts as well as on stationeries, and also we can see traces of Winter Sonata, Autumn in My Heart, or My Sassy Girl on displays reminding us of the popular K- Dramas.
I tried to write a blog about it, hope you also like it https://stenote.blogspot.com/2019/11/seoul-at-myeongdong-day-time.html.
